Spot the Symptoms, Save Lives
Symptoms of AML are largely non-specific and may initially resemble the flu, unexplained bruising or severe bone pain. They may develop very rapidly (within a few days or weeks) and should be investigated immediately.
HOW TO SPOT AML
Seek urgent medical help immediately if you (or anther adult or child) develop one or more of the following which cannot be explained:

Tiredness and lack of energy

Breathlessness

Increased bruising without injury

Increased bleeding (gums, nose, an abrasion or during a procedure)

Fever and signs of infection

Weight loss
-
Chest pain
-
Severe bone pain without injury (legs, arms, back, ribs or shoulders)
